ONCOR’s Playground QR Survey invited parents to give us feedback on the kinds of equipment they’d like to see in their neighborhood park.

ONCOR’s open house at the New Castle Library encouraged families to select the best equipment for their neighborhood playground.

New Castle Playground Subcommittee
The City Counsel creates the New Castle Playground Subcommittee and appoints ONCOR members to the subcommittee.
June 2022
FY23 Bond Bill Funding
Elected officials support the New Castle Battery Park Playground by including $100k in the 2023 Bond Bill.
November 2022
DNREC ORPT Grant
DNREC awards the City of New Castle $60k for the Battery Park playground to build accessible playground paths and fund more fun equipment.
October 2023
Ribbon Cutting
ONCOR’s neighbors and official representatives joined together to open the new Battery Park playground.
